Matthew Hill is one of the Co-Founders of Client Focused Advisors.  He started in the financial services industry over 15 years ago.  For 10 of those years, he was responsible for recruiting, training, and developing new advisors in the tri-state area.  Along the way he has not only attained designations like the LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) but has also served 100’s of clientele along the way.

Matt has built a successful organization which focuses on providing financial education and guidance that helps clients make the best financial decisions now and in the future. His team of associates is dedicated to serving a multi-generational clientele who are attracted to the firm’s reputation for excellence in client service and cultivating relationships that last for clients’ lifetimes and into future generations. Matt’s strong belief in the importance of multi-generational planning is demonstrated by the firm’s multi-generational team of financial professionals.

Past industry achievements include the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table*, ACE **(Achieving Client Excellence), and an ACE Top Producer qualifier in 2012.  In 2014, Matt was one of the few selected to speak to his peers at the Practice Advancement Conference, focusing on how he implements technology throughout his practice. Matt is currently an Investment Advisor Representative, is Life & Health Licensed as well as LTC, and holder of the FINRA Series 7, 63, & 66 registrations.

Matt’s primary concentration is around business owners, executives, and medical professionals. He currently works within this arena on assisting his clients in the understanding of their Wealth & Protection strategy and will develop a tailored strategy unique to each of his client’s needs. 

Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Delaware.  As a lifelong resident of Long Island, New York, Matt is philanthropically involved with numerous children’s charities in both New York City and Long Island area.

Matt currently resides in the Township of Huntington with his wife, Erika, and his daughter, Calista.  On his free time, you can find him at the beach or a park or overlooking water or basically anywhere with his favorite people in the world, Erika and Calista.

*Qualifying membership in the MDRT is based on minimum commission and gross business generated within a year.  Each MDRT status designation is granted for one year only until lifetime membership is achieved after 10 years; otherwise, all members must apply every year to continue their affiliation with the Million Dollar Round Table.
